Hey Malcom,
As always, spot on with the real time reporting! Got turned on to the curried goat at Trellis on my last trip down with my friend John. Says he knows you from CGB. Now I guess I'll have to try the grouper sandwich and see which is better Unregistered Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: Manpot] Where is this cafe? Manpot

Life is good....if you take time to enjoy it. awsomedmd
Member Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: Dreamer] No doubt the FAS is the best sandwich in the entire world. If you haven't tried it you have to get here and have one. There is nothing like it on the whole planet. Mine was Grouper. Just fantastic. I cant describe the bread but I'll try. Whole grain bread???,, at least an inch thick... both slices...fresh and delicious. The Grouper was tender and tasty, with a great dressing. WOW... and then there was the Dark and Stormy. Well if you can describe heaven on earth through a straw this is it. DONT STIR.... SUCK and LIFT. again WOW. What a lunch. You have to stop in and have an FAS (Fabulously Awsome Sandwich) and a Dark and Stormy. You'll never regret it. Post Extras: Print Post Remind Me! Notify Moderator

Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: CaWino] The full monty is a bagel or the 7 grain bread, toasted, and topped with grilled mushrooms, cheese, grilled tomato, egg, and baked beans. All those ingredients in one big pile. Not my taste, but my husband LOVED it and duplicates it at home.

Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: periwinkle] Your husband must be English. Sounds like something I would like too. I once asked Jeremy what was in an awsome sandwich. He just looked at me in disgust and said "trust me" I'm glad I did. griz

Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: bonefish] Nope, he's a Swede! I did think that full monty thing sounded like a British thing. I pictured everything in separate piles...the mushrooms, the tomato, the egg, the beans, so when it came all in one big pile, I was surprised!! Hey, if you order that for breakfast, you are not going to need a lunch! MikeClearlake

Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: periwinkle] I'm definit4ely up for the Full Monty..the Heinz ( British ) Baked beans put me over the top when I saw Jeremy deliver one..I'll diet for a week before I have it though..it's interesting that Heinz make US beans and Brit beans..the Brit beans are usually spelled " Beanz" and taste very different..in a good way..but then I love Marmite!! rlsmith54

Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: Manpot] It's funny the Heinz Beanz came up here. We had them on the boat a couple of years ago. The Admirals thought they were a little bland, so they poured in some Bloody Mary Mix !!! Try it !!! In the imortal words of Jeremy..."Trust Me" !!! --------------------

Re: Jeremy's killer sandwiches.. [Re: Anonymous] I tried the Marmite again at Malcolm's ....I have to admit it is starting to grow on me, I did not find it to be objectionable at all ...it's funny because I always tell my kids to try everything at least once ....and then a couple years later, try it again!
